Description
Clutches transmit the rotary motion from a motor to a parallel shaft when energized using pulleys, sheaves, sprockets or gears to transmit the rotary force. Brakes stop this rotary motion when energized. Clutches and brakes are typically energized by a manual DPDT switch closure, relay operated by a process controller, or other automated process management or control system. Our line of Integrated Clutch & Brake Modules incorporate the clutch and brake in one convenient, space-saving package. They are available in a variety of torque ratings and mounting arrangements.
