Valcor Engineering’s Nuclear Group recently returned from the Motor-Operated Valve & Air Operated-Valve Users Group Annual Conference (MUG/AUG), which was held in Austin, Texas. The meeting ran from January 13-17, 2025.

MUG is a forum of member nuclear utility representatives, with the purpose of exchanging technical information relating to the testing and maintenance of motor-operated valves among the utilities and in coordination with other organizations within the nuclear industry for the increased reliability and safety of nuclear power.

AUG’s focus is the development and exchange of information concerning the performance, design, testing, and maintenance of air-operated valves, compressed air systems, and fluid lead management programs.
