Description

Designed to protect sensitive pneumatic and hydraulic systems from over pressurization, relief valves crack at the desired pressure, and reseat at a much lower, safer system pressure. Adjustable and preset pressures, with customizable crack to reseat pressure ranges are available, along with an extensive range of pressure and flow capacities. Available configurations include vent to atmosphere or captured venting construction.

Application

Relief valves are found anywhere that over pressurization will damage or destroy system components. Typical applications include propulsion pressurant used in reaction control systems (RCS) and attitude control systems (ACS). Cabin over-pressurization control and propellant tank pressure control are common as well.
