Valcor Engineering’s Aerospace Group recently exhibited at the 54th AIAA/SAE/ASEE Propulsion and Energy Forum, which was held from July 9-11 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The focus of the conference was to identify and highlight how innovative aerospace propulsion technologies powering both new and evolving systems are being designed, tested, and flown. Flight applications include next generation commercial aircraft, regional and business jets, military applications, supersonic/hypersonic high speed propulsion applications, commercial and government-sponsored launch systems, as well as orbital insertion, satellite, and interstellar propulsion.
While at the conference, Valcor’s paper was presented, which was written by Vitor Cardoso, Richard Kelly, Yuri Gerasimov, Merritt D’Elia, Sumeet Kapur, Eli Vasquez, and Tim Monahan. The title of the paper was “The Use of a Flow Limiter in Propellant Feedlines During a Priming Event.”
